RE-MIX. Urban Production Landscapes / Paisatges Urbans Productius

The regeneration of production spaces is a key issue in the contemporary metropolis and leads to an interesting discussion on how to reconstruct the city on itself. In addition to an overview of urban development experiences of note in Europe, we examine strategies for transforming the former industrial estate Carretera del Mig in L’Hospitalet into a
RE-MIX of production urban landscapes.

Carles Crosas and Álvaro Clua are lecturers in urban design at the ETSAB-UPC and have edited this work from the Urbanism Laboratory of Barcelona (LUB) in collaboration with the urban development agency of L’Hospitalet (ADU-L’H).
